This morning received a bunch of updates in the game, and level 33 arrived. Includes Springfield Wax Museum, The Sunsphere, a S.W.A.T. Van, Training Wall, Little Lady Justice, K9 Officer, Arnie Pie, and the cops, Eddie and Lou. More details as we discover them.

Hi guys, I’m not sure whether this was mentioned before, I didn’t see it anywhere when scrolling through the comments, so I’m gonna mention it (again): the update turned of the donut spending option again, so you have to turn it on again! 🙂

Confirmed donut spend didn’t reset for all of us, but checking the settings regular is a good habit 🙂

For house farmers, the ability to collect income from two nearby houses by tapping once inbetween them was taken away with the Krustyland update, but seems to have returned with Level 33, though it now requires two taps. At least it’s better than having to tap directly on each dollar icon.

Parking meters can now be placed on the edge of sidewalks for “street parking”. The Krustyland update allowed parking meters to be placed directly on the street, but Level 33 updated their position to the sidewalk. Looks much better.

I lost a star in my Consumerism when I got Level 33. Does anyone know the cheapest way to get another star in consumerism? I built wax museum no luck. I don’t want to buy anohter Ferris wheel or buy some gulpsblow thanks

It happens with every update and seems there’s not much you can do right away to change it. I will have a look at what will help.

finally got the update And moved to level 33 this afternoon. I started and finished the first quest with snake and said I completed it but the next part didnt begin. i left the game and when I came back later it said I was at level 32 again. I restarted my phone went back into the game the quest line continued with chief Wiggum but it says I’m still at level 32 when I should be at lvl 33.I still got the free doughnut for leveling up. help!

Same here…already placed the museum and sun sphere for building. Came back to complete snake’s task and noticed the museum was not only not placed but it was locked and the sun sphere was back in the list of available items

Just found sideshow bob in Krustyland for the first time and didnt get kicked out the game when I tapped him which I gather some people have had problems with. I wonder if this update has fixed this glitch.

It was a friends KL. First time Id seen him in any KL but though this might be useful for people who were having problems previously.

I have seen him appear many times in kl when visiting neighbors and avoid him lol. He will crash you every time. If they do make it so that he can give out tix that would be great!

I’m disappointed in Eddie’s “Train for action” task. I was hoping for a Hogan’s Alley animation with cutout targets popping out of the door and Eddie shooting at everything (kids with balloons, pregnant women, criminals in striped shirts with bandit masks…)

He just disappears inside the wall, bit of a shame. At least the wall and swat van help righteousness rating so not all bad. Ive bought about 10 walls to hide behind other buildings as this is one of the ratings that I have trouble with.

um i bought Arnie – set him on his 12 hour task and then went to Krustyland. Arnie is no longer there, and the donuts i spent have been refunded – anyone else have this issue or anything similar? i don’t want to buy him again if it will cost me double or somethin.

Holy moly! The Wax Museum and the Sunsphere are a combined $1,026,000 cash. Eeps! Thank goodness they’re level items and not limited edition. Insanely pricey though not surprising. The mueseum is standard and the sunsphere is large and similar to the other items the magnifying glass and the staircase that leads nowhere. Both large and pricey. 🙂

Didnt see anyone commenting this, but did you notice that arnie and the dog are exactly 130 donuts, making it very easy and convenient to buy a tray of donuts to spend on the two of them. I think EA is actually thinking on this one.

That is exactly what I did…I only had 18 donuts left and it was worth every penny.have only done e 8 and 12 hour arnie tasks and am impressed..

my real question is what is with the training wall? any tasks or anything associated with it. Looks a little odd. And how does that and the van add to righteousness. Can you do a very special post on how much these add?

Eddie has a 12 hour task to Train for action at the training wall. The wall and the van add 10 points each to righteousness.

Thanks for the info, I was wondering this as well. I would really love a post on how to improve righteousness rating or on how to improve the conform-o-meter in general in the future (which items contribute how much to which meter etc), particularly how many items you need to max it out. But of course I understand you guys are really busy. Love the new blog, appreciate it!

The training wall is from the episode where marge trains to be a police officer, the gag is that she tried to scale the wall and wiggum says the women never seem to find the door.

I got level 33, but now it’s back down to 32 and all the new stuff is locked out! Has anyone else had this issue or does anyone know what to do to fix it?

Same happened to me, and probably to many others too. I don’t think there’s anything you can do about it… just have to generate XP till you get back to level 33 again.

Ok so now I’m on the Krustyland quest, the Wolfcastle quest, the Rod & Todd quest and the lvl 33 quest. Saving up tickets for the stunt show while saving up money to expand the land a bit, and to finally put the Springfield penitentiary and the nuclear plant to their places. Thought about making some room for the mental hospital as well… But as I don’t do very much house farming, this will not happen tomorrow nor any time soon.
Talking about life ruingly fun. I’m supposed to be studying for my final exams, not playing this. EA just won’t give me a break! I can’t just leave this. They sure know how to make people buy donuts… And I’m really getting close to buying.

I really want to get Arnie Pye but I was thinking he was gong to get a building or something. I may wait and here what you guys have to say about him (pros and cons). If I like what his jobs are then I will get him plus dr nick. If I don’t like anything about him then I will get Professor Frink.

To anyone in this situation, don’t waste your time/money on gulps if you are a bit short, the coffee carts at squid port increase your star ratings and are cheap!

Got the update fine on 1st gen iPad, but when I try on newer iPad or on iPhone 4s, it hangs at downloading update 94/99, eventually times out, and goes back to the Retry screen. Anyone else seeing this?

Deleted the app, reinstalled, and the updates loaded fine. So anyone else who has this problem, try it.

My boyfriend has the IPhone 4s as well and it isn’t showing an update at all, he has already un-downloaded it and re-downloaded it but still nothing…any other suggestions?

The 12 hour task has him flying around in a helicopter (like Kang in the spaceship)… He is voiced at least.
I’m 25 minutes away from unlocking SWAT van, will update then.

If you can wait one more level Calmwood will drop to just over 100k. Maybe someone could post the breakdown for calculating building base values. I only remember that the new buildings are 3x their base values. With the SWAT van being a decoration I don’t think we will be getting any discounts on that one though.

You do need Wiggum free after you get Eddie. The next task is Wiggum telling you to buy the training wall and get Eddie to use it. Snake is the one who starts the level off.
